What is rachael a. honig?

Rachael A. Honig is currently serving as the Acting U.S. Attorney for the District of New Jersey. She took on this role in January 2021 after the resignation of her predecessor, Craig Carpenito. Honig previously held the position of First Assistant U.S. Attorney for the office, making her well-versed in the operations and priorities of the District of New Jersey.

Prior to joining the U.S. Attorney's Office, Honig worked as a federal prosecutor in the Criminal Division of the U.S. Department of Justice in Washington, D.C.
